As a volunteer, you’ll help create a welcoming learning environment for participants preparing to take the Civics Exam. We meet once a week for a 1 hour session to review lesson plans, build activities, and prepare for class. Volunteers then attend our Saturday classes, where they work directly with participants, answering questions, practicing civics content and English, and offering an uplifting environment.
