Volunteer: Gardening Assistant

This is a Community Based Work-Study position.  Only students with Federal Work Study are eligible to apply. If you have questions about your eligibility, please email mbrito@oberlin.edu. Students must complete the CBWSP application before beginning work.


Our goal is community engagement and a positive gardening experience for everyone. Let no one go hungry. This role is relatively relaxed and will primarily take place outdoors. Work Study students will be assisting in the daily operation of the garden working closely with supervisors.


Employees required to use hand tools to weed, transplant and harvest vegetables; lift up to 25 lbs. of produce in crates.


This position pays $12 an hour
