Oberlin Heritage Center

Who We Are

The Oberlin Heritage Center (OHC) preserves and shares the community's rich local history to attract visitors, foster community pride, and educate future generations. In addition to preserving the physical and remembered history of the community, OHC offers year-round tours of three historic buildings, multiple thematic walking tours, youth and adult on-site and outreach programs, community events, and research assistance.  Volunteers and interns are essential to the Heritage Center, assisting with projects such as leading tours, creating publicity materials, research, cataloguing materials, transcribing oral histories, and developing outreach programs.

What We Do

The Oberlin Heritage Center (OHC) is the historical society, museum, and heritage preservation organization of Oberlin. OHC offers educational programs, tours, kids activities and workshops. Accredited by the American Alliance of Museums, it follows high standards regarding collections care, administration, and public outreach.
